The suspects purportedly have some expertise in duping bank clients through Automated Teller Machines (ATM).
EFCC representative, Dele Oyewale, in an announcement on Thursday, said the suspects were captured at the bank premises situated in the North Bank zone of Makurdi.
The usual way of doing things of the trio (names retained) was to get details of clients who looked for help to withdraw money through their ATM.
All the while, they would trade the figures and different details, for example, passwords in the client’s ATM card and clone it to dupe the clueless client.
EFCC discovered 31 ATM cards of various names and banks, cell phones, 2 PCs, 16 SIM cards, 1 modem, 1 blaze drive and phony cash notes from them.
Oyewale included that one Mazda vehicle, Millennia model, was likewise recouped.
The offenders will be charged to court after investigation.
