Osun Police Arrest Boyfriend Of Late EKSU Student


The Osun State police have confirmed the arrest of Ayo Maliki, boyfriend to the late Miss Faderera Oloyede, a student of the Federal University, Oye Ekiti, who has been on the run ever since she was found dead in his room.

22-year-old Faderera had died on Tuesday after eating a meal during her visit to Maliki’s house in Iree, Osun  state in company of her friend Adewunmi Adekemi.

Maliki was arrested by detectives in Osogbo, the state capital. The spokesperson for the Osun State Police Command Yemisi Opalola, who confirmed his arrest, said the police had gotten more evidence for its investigation on the case, stating that the sample of the food eaten by the deceased before her death had also been sent for laboratory tests as part of the investigation.
She said,

“Truly we have taken the sample of the food she ate in the room and our men are still investigating its source.
